Data retention policy

1. Retention of analytics data

• Duration: Server logs and analytics data (IP addresses, page visits, timestamps) are retained for up to 12 months for security and performance monitoring.
• Anonymization: Aggregated, anonymized data may be stored longer for research and educational purposes.

2. Retention of voluntary submissions

• Duration: Account information, blog posts, and email submissions are retained until you request deletion or until they are no longer needed for site functionality.
• Deletion window: Deleted accounts will have associated data removed within 30 days of request.

3. Retention of backups

• Cycle: Encrypted server backups may contain user data. These backups are rotated and purged on a 90-day cycle.

4. Legal obligations

Certain data may be retained longer if required by law, regulation, or legal proceedings.

5. User control

• Request deletion: You may request deletion of your data anytime at admin@tempiklabs.com.
• Confirmation: Upon request, we will confirm deletion and provide a summary of retained anonymized data, if applicable.
